Calling all Genea-Musings Fans:

It’s Saturday Night again –

Time for some more Genealogy Fun!!

Here is your assignment, should you decide to accept it (you ARE reading this, so I assume that you really want to play along – cue the Mission Impossible music!):

1)  Do you have photos of your spouse, or significant other, or a parent, or a grandparent?  Please share some of them!  Have you collected all of the photos of your spouse/SO/parent/grandparent in a computer file folder?

Do I have photos? Yes. Are they all scanned? Probably not.

Because I’ve been the recipient of a lot of family pictures, I’ve tried to scan them and upload them to the MEMORIES on Family Search.

I also have the scanned images on my computer. I have a folder for each of my surnames with subfolders for relatives with that surname. In order to keep those subfolders organized, I begin the name of the folder with the person’s birth year. This puts the folders in chronological order.

Since my husband researches his own tree, most of his photos are on his computer in Dropbox folders. For backup purposes, those folders are also on my computer.
