Township Armstrong County

The last will and testament of David Ralston of North Buffalo Township
Armstrong Count in the name of God I David Ralston considering the
uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind & memory blessed
be God for the same do make and publish this my last will and test
ament in names and form following I do give and bequeath to my
Eldest Son James Ralston seventy five acres of land to be taken off the
North west and of the track whereon I reside and I do next give to
my son John Ralston the remainder of the tract being one hundred
acres of land and he the said John Ralston is to take the Charge of
his mother during her natural life and the said John Ralston is to
have all the farming utensils stock and household furniture till this
is done and t that time I do allow the stock and household furniture
to be praised and divided equally among my four daughters Janes Han
nah Ann and Rebecca Ralston who is single at home with me
and while she remains so she is to have her living as usual and
if she gets married she is to get such articles as are necessary for
housekeeping and a [Com] and if she is not satisfied she may
choose her place of residents and I do appoint James Ralston &
John Ralston as executors of this my last will & testament Given
under my hand and seal this 21st day of July AD 1850

Then personally appeared Robert Rickadden & James Rayburn the subscribing wit
nesses to the foregoing last will & testament of David Ralston Senr deceased and on
their solemn oaths did say that they were present and did see and hear David
Ralston Sen deceased the testator therein named acknowledged to haves igned
sealed publish and declare the same as and for his last will and testament
and that at the doing thereof he the said testator was of perfect sound mind
memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge observation & beliefs
