Do you ever try and figure out what new features do in your genealogy software? With the release of RootsMagic 8’s most recent update, 7.9.350 there is an option to ‘choose a workflow’ for the EDIT PERSON screen.
This ability to ‘select’ the workflow is found on the PROGRAM SETTINGS menu. It is the option to ‘Use slide-in workflow on Edit Person when clicking fact list icons.’
With the slide-in enabled the various types of information slide to the left and ‘cover’ the person’s timeline on the Edit person screen. Below are images to compare the various types of information without and with the slide-in.

After comparing these various screens, I will likely leave the ‘slide-in workflow’ turned on.
