Santa brought us a new camera for Christmas. Besides family pictures and tombstone pictures, this camera was purchased to take pictures of birds. Not only did Santa bring us a camera but he included a trip to one of my favorite places to see birds, Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge.
Our little camera is nothing like most of the cameras we see while visiting the refuge. Even though it is small, it got some fantastic pictures on our visit.
Great shots! What kind of camera is it?
It is a Nikon Coolpix B600. It is a SHORT zoom compared to the other cameras in use at the refuge. It was recommended by a nephew who often spends his lunch hour taking a nature walk taking pictures of the wildlife he sees. Last week was our first time out with the camera and we made some mistakes — but enjoyed the day and the pictures!
