are bound unto the State of Indiana, in the sum of Four Thousand
dollars, for the payment on which, we bind ourselves, jointly
and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed and dated this 13 day of
October 1871
If the above bound James H Crawford will faithfully discharge his duties as
Guardian of the person and property of
Celia C Crawford
minor heir of Nelson G & Martha Crawford deceased, then the above
obligation is to be void, else to remain in force

minor heir of Martha & Nelson G Crawford late of
Warren County, deceased said minor resides
in Warren County, Indiana and is the owner
of real estate of the value of one hundred &
fifty dollars which will rent for ten dollars per
year said ward also owns personal property
of the probable value of three thousand dollars

to about the sum of twelve hundred

deceased, and being over fourteen years of age, do hereby select, James H Crawford
to be my Guardian, and [issued] the Clerk of the Warren
County Court of Common Pleas to appoint the said James H Crawford
as such Guardian
