Evans Deeds

Robert M. Evans was one of the founders of Evansville. He also patented land in Warrick county, Indiana At this point, I have no evidence connecting General Robert M. Evans to my ancestor, James Evans of Warrick County, Indiana. Perhaps figuring out all of the land transactions for Robert M. Evans in southern Indiana will help figure out whether they are related. Unfortunately, the two deeds found in Warrick county don’t connect to James Evans.
