I have several probate documents from the estate of Matthew M. Bland of Platte County, Missouri. I was not able to locate these documents in the digitized probate records for Platte County on the Family Search site. I did locate several court entries regarding the estate.

In the Matter of the last
Will and Testament of Matthew M Bland
This day came _ Beard and
produced to the court an Instrument of writing
purporting to be the last will and testament of Matthew M Bland
of Platte County, Missouri – Thereupon came Alvery A. Nower
and Wesley B Cook two of the subscribing witnesses to said
instrument, who deposed in and form of Law as to the execution
of the same, and the Court having heard this testimony and
having examined said instrument adjudged that the same
is the last will and testament of Matthew M Bland who
departed this life in Platte County Missouri after the
xecution and publication thereof wherefore it is ordered
that said instrument of writing be admitted to Probate and
recorded as the last will and testament of said Matthew
M Bland deceased.

Wednesday August 27, 1879

In the estate of M M Bland
This day came Mary Bland widow of M M Bland decd
and on her motion she is appointed adminsitratrix witht he Bill
annexed of said decedent whereupon she took the oath required
by law and tendered Bond in the same of $1000.00 with H C
Turner & Jas Norris as securities which bond was accepted and
ordered to be filed and recorded and thereupon Letters of
administration with the will annexed were issued to said
Mary Bland on the estate of said decedant and W H Ramsey
& R Missig were appointed witnesses to aid her

Ordered that Court be adjourned until Friday the 29 Int at 10
O’clock AM

to the Court an Inventory of said estate which was ordered
to be filed and recorded

ordered to be filed and recorded in Book of appraisements

In the Estate of
Martin Bland Decd

This day came Mary Bland admrx
of the Estate of decedent and submitted her petition asking
that she be authorised to sell at public or private sale personal
property of decedent for payment of debts and said Petition
being by the Court examined and heart It is ordered that
said Administratrix do sell at either public or private sale as she
may consider best for the interest of said estate such of the
personal property of decedants as she may think proper
and that in said sale whither public or private that she comply
with the requirements of law n such cases and she make
written report of her proceeding to this court as soon as said
personal estate disposed of

This day cam Mary Bland and produced to
the Court a notice to creditors of the [gr] [mt] of
Letters to [him] on decedents estate and proof othe publication
thereof which was ordered to be filed and recorded on Book
Notices [c] Vol 1
Said Mary Bland also submitted to the Court a
first Settlement of her accounts as adminstratrix
of decedents estate which was examined by the Court
and was ordered to be filed and recorded in
Settlement Record No 2

Be it remembered, tat on this 21 day of August
A.D. 1879 before me W P Chiles Judge
of the Probate Court, held in and for the County and State
aforesaid, personally appeared Alvah A [Nower] & Wesley Bl Cook
who are subscribing witnesses to the annexed Will of
Matthew M Bland deceased, and being by me first duly
sworn, depose and say that the said Matthew M Bland
the testator subscribed the same in their presence, and published and declared said will or instrument of
writing to be his last will and testament, and that at the time of signing the same, he the said testator
was of sound and disposing mind, and more than twenty-one years of age, and that said deponents attested said
will as witnesses thereto, bu subscribing their names to the same in the presence of the testator and or each
other, and at the request of said testator.

I Mathew M Bland of Platte County
State of Missouri, being in delicate health
and knowing the uncertainty of life yet of
sound and reflecting mind, make this
my last will and testament, first
I will to my dearly beloved wife all my seal
and personal estate after paying all my
just debts and funeral expences to controll
and manage as she may best think fit during
during her natural life, but in case she should
marry she is to endorsed with her legal rights
then it is my will at death or marriage of my
wife that my real and personal estate be
equally divided between my seven children
To wit Mary Baker, Ann B[eimer] WIlliam John
Margret M Eller Jane and Robert L and
it is my will that there should be no adminisra[tion]
on my estate if my said wife and children
can either it without [so?] given under
my hand this 27 day of June one thousan
eight hundred and seventy one

Bond of Administrator with will Annexed
We, Mary Bland as Principal,
and H C Tuner
and James Norris as Securities, are held and firmly bound unto the
State of Missouri, in the sum of one thousand (1000.)
Dollars, for the payment of which we do hereby bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators
firmly by these presents.
Sealed with our seals and dated at Weston in the State aforesaid,
this 27th day of August, A.D. 1879
This condition of the above bond is that if the said Mary Bland
as administratrix with the will (annexed)
of the Last will and testament of Matthew M Bland
deceased, late of Platte County, Missouri, shall well and faithfully execute the
said Last Will and testament, and shall make true and faithful inventories, returns and settlements of
accounts of the estate of the said Testator, according to law; and shall, moreover, do and perform all
other matters and things touching the execution of hte said Last Will and Testament, as are or shall be
prescribed by law, or enjoined on her by the order, sentence or decree of any Court having
competent jurisdiction, then this obligation to be void and of no effect, otherwise to remain in full force.

of the Last Will and Testament of Matthew M bland deceased, late
of Platte County, Missouri, personally appeared before me, the Judge
of he Probate Court, held in and for
the County of Platte and State of Missouri, and being duly
sworn by me, upon oath says that she will make a true and perfect inventory of all and singular
the goods and chattels, lands and tenements, rights and credits of the said Testator, according to law,
and will well and truly execute or administer the Last Will and Testament of the said Testor, by
paying, first his debts, and then the legacies contained in said Last Will and Testament, as far as the
assets of the said Testator will extend, and the law direct; render just accounts, and faithfully perform
all things required by law touching such Administration
