Do you have a photo album handed down thru the family that does not contain family photos? That’s what I’m faced with as I go thru my grandmother’s photo albums.
Instead of just throwing away the photos, my husband said to scan them and share them. So, I took the easy route and scaned them while in the album.
My grandmother rented rooms to wives of the pilots stationed at Dodge City during World War II. She kept in contact with many of these families over the years. I believe some of these photos are of those families. The rest are likely Dodge City friends.
