My Minnick folder has yielded a photocopy of a Certificate of Church Membership. I don’t believe this record can be found in an online collection.

While I failed to locate this record in any database of church memberships, I was able to locate information about the pastor. THe 12 Mar 1897 issue of the Kewanee Daily Courier contained a death notice for Rev. B. Applebee.

Rev. B. Applebee, a former Methodist minister of this place, but now of Red Oak, Iowa, died while at supper one day last week, of neuralgia of the heart. He was pastor in Kewanee during the 60’s and was a very successful revivalist. (Kewanee Daily Courier, 12 Mar 1897, page 3)
