1807 Allen Deed

A Botetourt County Virginia will of John Crawford indicates that part of his land is to be split between three sons: John, Andrew and William. In 1799, John Crawford sells his portion to Malcolm Allen while brother, Andrew sells his portion to Thomas Allen. According to the Crawford Families papers by George Fetzer, a deed where William Crawford sells his land has not been found.

However, in 1807, a deed from Thomas Allen to Malcolm Allen indicates the land being sold is Andrew and William’s portion.
