German Maps
Do you use maps in your research? One of my favorite map sites is mapofus.org because it helps me figure out changing county boundaries. For the most part, I don’t need a similar tool for the boundaries of states or even the United States.
However, a participant on Mondays with Myrt recently pointed out that the same is not true when doing German research. With that in mind, a display was created for Nemaha County Historical Society’s participation in Oktoberfest. This display of maps highlighted not only the boundary changes but also the changes in the names of the country.
