Today is a day for family. For me, it is also a day for community.
For the past several years, I have spent the early morning of Thanksgiving helping to prepare a Community Thanksgiving in my small town of Seneca, Kansas. The early shift prepares the dressing, puts the turkey on to reheat, starts the corn and then begins packaging the pies and salads. While it is a very early morning, it is a great way to serve the community!
Later in the day, my husband and I will celebrate Thanksgiving with my brother and his family. Some of my previous posts highlight our family thanksgivings.
