Do you have a blog? If so, have you ever considered preserving its content as a PDF or even a book? I used to rely on Blog2Print for this, but since that service is no longer available, I’ve been exploring new options.
Because I use a WordPress blog, I decided to try the Print My Blog plug-in to compile and print my posts for 2024. Here’s how the process works:
- Add Content to the ‘Book’: The first step is organizing the blog posts you want to include.
- Generate the File: Clicking “Generate” opens a window where you can view and print the content in your browser.
- Save as a PDF: Once in the browser, I saved the content as a PDF to my computer.

After making a few minor edits, I re-saved the PDF and uploaded it to my Archive.org account for safe storage and sharing.
This process has been a great way to preserve my blog’s content and ensure it remains accessible for years to come. Have you tried something similar? I’d love to hear about your experiences!

Wish I saw this before I deleted my old blog.
I used blog2print until it shut down last year. I’ve been looking for a replacement and saw this plug-in but didn’t know anything who tried it. Thank you – I’ll try it out, too. Did it save the whole year in one PDF or is there a size limit?
I didn’t try to print the entire year. I ended up printing a month at a time. My ‘book’ for June 2024 is 65 pages long. I’ve uploaded them to archive.org.

I will test the limits then and see if it can handle 4 months at a time.
