While going back thru some of my older research, I uncovered photocopies about the Crawford family from Miami Valley Genealogies, Vol 2, A-K. In trying to update my citation, I discovered a similar book but only covering letters A thru J. Below is a transcription from that second book.
CRAWFORD
James Crawford settled on Middle River in Augusta Co.,
where he died in 1751. His wife was Elizabeth Robertson, sister
of William Robertson. Issue:

George Crawford was in Virginia as early as 1747 when he was
appointed overseer of the road. He died between 1780–1784. The name
of his wife is not known and the list of his children is not complete.

Crawford – Warren Co., Ohio
Alexander, Thomas, Samuel and Oliver Crawford are found in the early records of Warren Co., Ohio. Perhaps sons of Samuel, Sr., who settled in Deerfield Twp. soon after 1790.
In 1801, June 2, Thomas Crawford purchased 106⅔ acres in Deerfield Twp., from John Cleve Symmes (part of Sec. 22-T 1-R 2). Deed Book 1, p. 241.
Thomas Crawford died in 1811, as John Bigham and Samuel Crawford are appointed Adm. Oct. 24, 1811, and Feb. 19, 1812, Samuel Crawford is appointed guard. for Alexander, Andrew, and John Crawford, minors of Thomas, dec’d. In 1825, Dec. 31 (Deed Book 12, p. 128) the heirs of Thomas Crawford:
“Clark Baker and Ruth his wife, late Ruth Crawford, and John Crawford, of the county of Warren, State of Ohio, heirs of Thomas Crawford, dec’d, of the first part, and Alexander Crawford of same, of second part… Land in county of Warren, Deerfield Twp., part of Sec. 22-T 4-R 2. 106⅔ acres.
Ruth Crawford married Clark Baker Apr. 1, 1813.
Alexander Crawford was a large land owner and his name appears in many deeds. One deed of sale (Book 13, p. 60) is from Alexander Crawford and Catharine, his wife, to Jesse Hutchinson. Mrs. Catharine Crawford died 1828, age 57 years (born 1771), and is buried in the old cemetery in Lebanon. No record of descendants.
Samuel Crawford, Jr., son of Samuel who came to Ohio in 1790, married Jan. 5, 1815, Charity Scofield, born in Deerfield Twp. 1797.
