Your Abraham Lincoln question is my favorite. Is there any way to figure that out through court minutes?
When I was at the Illinois Historical Society (years ago), I saw a document placing both of them in the same courtroom. My memory says the courtroom was in Woodford county. I haven’t tried to dig thru my drawer full of documents to see if it is there.
