Do you use a wide variety of AI tools or stick to one or two. I have to admit that I have stuck to a few: ChatGPT, Google NotebookLM and at times Suno. Thus, I had not used Gemini.
That all changed when I needed a photo and my source was a newspaper picture. Having read quite a few posts on the Facebook Genealogy and Artificial Intelligence group about improving pictures, including taking a picture froma newspaper and making it useable. When I dug further, I found that they used simple prompts. So, I tried it.

Can you restore this picture from a 1946 newspaper?

I also had a cellphone picture of a framed photo that had a ‘glare’ problem.

The attached photo has a a glass over it that is causing a reflection of both light and some sort of rectangular object. Can you restore the picture, removing those reflections?

One of the pictures of my grandmother is damaged. I submitted that photo and asked Gemini to repair it.
