Calling all Genea-Musings Fans!
It’s Saturday Night again —
time for some more Genealogy Fun!

Come on, everybody — join in, accept the mission, and execute it with precision. This week’s challenge is your chance to share the genealogy and family history gear you received over the holidays.
1) Was Genea-Santa good to you?
What genealogy-related gifts did you receive for Christmas this year?
My Genealogy Santa is more of a year-round kind of guy than a strictly Christmas-Day visitor. Thanks to his generosity, I already have a well-stocked toolbox to support both my genealogy research and my blogging adventures. Over the past year, that toolbox has quietly expanded to include a few AI subscriptions — modern tools that pair surprisingly well with old records.
Santa also hinted that a second portable monitor would be making an appearance before my next research trip. That promise carries two exciting implications: first, that both my husband and I can use a portable monitor at the same time — and second, that a research trip is officially on the horizon!
When it comes to my genealogy work, I’m incredibly grateful for the access, tools, and opportunities Santa has provided over the years. Whether it’s new technology or trusted old resources, every gift helps move the research forward — one discovery at a time.
Genea-Santa seems to have left you with lots of promising time to research in 2026. Hope you make many great discoveries.
