Know all men by these presents that I
Elizabeth Burke of the county of Platte in the state of Missouri
have this day for and in consideration of the sum of thirty
two hundred dollars to the said Elizabeth Burke in hand paid by
Mathew M. Blan of the county of Atchison in the Territory of
Kansas granted, bargained and sold and by those presents do
grant bargain and sell unto the said Mathew M. Blan the
following described tracts or parcels of land situated
in the county of Platte in the state of Missouri that is to
say the east half of the south west quarter of section thirty
four (34) in township fifty four (54) of range thirty six (36) containing
eighty acres to have and to hold the premises hereby conveyed
with all the rights privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging
on in any wise appertaining unto the said Mathew M. Blan his
heirs and assigns forever. As I the said Elizabeth Burke hereby
covenanting to and with the said Mathew M. Blan his heirs and
assigns for her selft her heirs executors and administrators (B) to
warrant and defend the premises hereby conveyed against the
claim of every person whatsoever in witness whereby I have hereunto
subscribed my name and affixed my seal this 16th day of March AD 1860

Be it remembered that Elizabeth A. Burk
who is personally known to the undersigned a justice of the peace
within and for said county to be the person whose name is subscribed
to the within deed as a party thereto this day appeared before
me and acknowledged that she executed and delivered the
same as her voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes
therein contained. Given under my hand this 16 day of March AD 1860
